Numbers don’t lie: How IntuitSolutions delivers organic traffic to our clients’ Ecommerce sites using white hat methods, keyword research, Google analytics, and clean coding practices to improve Ecommerce Conversion Rates. WE DID THIS DIFFERENTLY. THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX
We managed Search Engine Optimization services for an Ecommerce company in New York selling display products, garment racks, and many other products. We decided if we were going to help this company to stand out, we had to do things differently. We had to be creative, otherwise the business would blend into a crowded competitive landscape.
In January 2013, we decided to do extensive research into what keywords would potentially drive up more traffic to the site. We got some help using data from the clients Google Adwords campaign, which gave us some information on what was working and what could be transferred to the website for search optimization.
Slight design changes were made on the homepage using up-to-date and SEO-friendly coding practices to improve conversion rate and site page load speed. Below is a before(left) and after (right) of the homepage of our ecommerce client:
The Title Tags and Meta Descriptions were updated using the information derived from keyword research so that we were using terms that people were really searching for.
We did not ignore social media and the value of optimized directory listings. Work was done to improve the content on the listings for the Ecommerce site. We also created content on social and blog platforms as part of our link building strategy in addition to the referral traffic that the site obtains from the listings.
The Chart below shows the Organic Traffic trends from Jan 1, 2013 when we started changing our approach to SEO as compared to the same time period in 2012.
There has been a 30% increase in visits from Organic traffic this year over the same time period last year, and the trend is up.
The site redesign and Meta Description updates also resulted in an increase in Goal Conversion Rate which led to an increase in sales from Organic Traffic.
We did this by thinking outside the box, using Google Analytics as a research tool, and inferring trends and gathering data from their Google Adwords account.
We applied a lot of the same strategies and out-of-the-box thinking that worked for our client tor another Ecommerce site selling outdoor wicker furniture and patio products. IntuitSolutions made these changes in June 2013 and we have noticed an increase of almost 7% in revenue generated from Organic Search from June 1 to September 1 of this year when compared to the same time period in 2012.
If you have a Local Business website or an Ecommerce site, you will not stand out if you do what everybody does. Think differently, think outside the box, and let IntuitSolutions find new ways to help you succeed.
